About Us
FCAH is a non-denominational, non-profit consumer organization, incorporated in California in 1965, to educate its members and the public about State and Federal funeral and cemetery regulations. And to assist in providing access to simple, dignified, economical mortuary services.
It is not a pre-payment plan, and it does not sell insurance or services.
It is a member of the national Funeral Consumers Alliance, with more than 100 Affiliates around the U.S.
Annual Meeting 2022
This year we have a speaker from Maggie Kraft, Executive Director of the Area 1 Agency for Aging. Maggie is going to talk to us about sorting through and organizing our clutter in our lives to help make it easier for our loved ones left behind after we pass away. Our all-volunteer organization does a lot with a little. YOUR community support helps with operating expenses, educational materials and training opportunities. We remain committed to providing phone and email support for those in need of our service. We educate our community about end of life issues through newsletters, presentations, library resources and more.

Get Involved
WE ASSIST members in avoiding unnecessary funeral expenses.
WE HELP members plan ahead for their final arrangements.
WE PROVIDE resources and referrals with information about local cemetery prices, mortuary costs and, for those who are interested, how to care for your own dead.
WE RECOMMEND that you discuss your plans and wishes with those close to you-family, friends and spiritual advisers. Consider their ideas and let them know yours.
